[THIN] Re: OT: Duplicate name on network

Make sure you have removed it in server manager. Do you have any static
ip's in your wins? That could be it too

Subject: [THIN] OT: Duplicate name on network

I am building a standard NT4 server up with an external ip address from my
isp. during the install process i get the error "duplicate name on network"
and it asks for a new name. No matter what name i put in, it gives me that
error. Has anyone ever seen this before. ITs a dual nic server. The first
nic is the external and second is internal address. the internal has not
even gotten and address or anything assigned to it yet. I haven't gotten
that far.

anyone seen this before?

Thanks,
