Did you check the workgroup in network neighborhood to see if the computer
accounts were in there.
I have seen that happen before

One thing I seems to be a trend is that most of these workstation were
created as part of the workgroup initially, then was joined with the Domain
at a later time. Not sure if that tells you anything.

Again, where on your network are these clients? Are they on a different
subnet than your backup server?

Seems like it does not matter. I made sure I have Netbios enabled but still
is does not show up. No DNS issue so far. =3D3D20

This is really weird because about 2/3 of the computers are showing up,
while the other third are not there. They do have access to the network.

I would check to make sure that they have NetBIOS enabled on the LAN =3D
=3D3D3D interface. Also, are these workstations on the same subnet, or = on
=3D =3D3D3D another subnet from your backupsever? Also, are you having =
any =3D DNS =3D3D3D issues? Remember that if you are going to browse =
through =3D "Network =3D3D3D Neighborhood" it's all NetBIOS resolution. I'm
hoping = =3D that W2k3 will =3D3D =3D3D3D get rid of that. IT should, since
W2k3 = will =3D not support any client =3D3D3D under Windows 2000.

Just wondering what I am missing here. I have a W2k AD Domain. When I =3D
=3D3D3D go to network neighborhood, and browse the domain, I don't = see
=3D some of =3D3D3D the workstation. All the workstation are part of = the
=3D Domain. =3D3D This is =3D3D3D causing some problem because I can't use
= =3D backupexec to back these =3D3D =3D3D3D workstation. The workstation
in = =3D question are either running Win2K or =3D3D =3D3D3D XP.=3D3D3D3D20

Thanks for any help
