No, it autoselects the initial deployment event when the workstation =
boot as its not in the Altiris Database (New Machine).

Mac addresses are not restricted. It will deploy to all new machines =
starting up.

Are you hitting F8 when it boots up and selecting Initail Deployment =
Event?
Also did you put the MAC address for this initial event to execute on?

Has anyone out there experienced any problems with the initial =

event in Altiris deployment server 5.5 where a new server/workstation =

PXE boot and just wait for the deployment server to issue an event to =

Even though there is one already set to run.
