[THIN] Re: OT: Altiris deployment server issue

Are you hitting F8 when it boots up and selecting Initail Deployment Event?
Also did you put the MAC address for this initial event to execute on?

Hi,

 

I know this is off the topic, but I'm running out of ideas on this one.

 

Has anyone out there experienced any problems with the initial deployment
event in Altiris deployment server 5.5 where a new server/workstation will
PXE boot and just wait for the deployment server to issue an event to it.
Even though there is one already set to run.

 

Creating a virtual machine appears to wok fine.
