[THIN] Re: No Servers Listed in CMC

Is this consistent; can you recreate Datastore in Access ( Provided your
data in Citrix can be reconfigured again.). After that verify the integrity
of data and appearance in CMC. After that create a DB in SQL Server and
migrate the Datastore. Earlier I faced the same issue and resolved in the
same way.

Try it

If the issue is only with the CMC and no servers being listed and published
apps are running without issue, it may be not be a data store issue. As I
mentioned earlier, when our Access data store goes corrupt, everything is
impacted (farm connections, published apps, Resource Manager, etc.). You
may want to consider contacting Citrix on this one, before attempting any
data store restore. At least the users are connecting without issue at this
point.

Yes, users are able to connect, everything seems to work fine.

When our Access data store goes corrupt on us, users cannot connect to any
of the published apps on the farm and no connections are visible to any of
the 17 servers on the farm. Are your users able to connect and work as per
normal?

Well, it looks like we're doing a restore tonight. Any suggestions there
other than having all logins disabled and users logged out?

We've seen database corruption with our Access data store on a few occasions
and had to do a restore of the db to resolve a similar situation. Not sure
where to point you to with the SQL data store.

We are using SQL Server.

James: Are you using an Access db for the data store?

Can u check in Database table whether the particular server entry has come?
If it has not come there was a problem aroused while joining the servers to
Farm, i.e.' data store.

Subject: [THIN] No Servers Listed in CMC

Environment: Win2k3, XP FR3, SP4.

We no longer see any servers listed in the Server container in the CMC. We
have verified the datastore with dsmaint, we have recreated the LHC.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks-

James
