[THIN] Re: Nfuse applications and printing

I believe the MF XP requirement is a licensing requirement, not a
technical one. As long as MetaFrame supports NFuse (i.e. MF 1.8 FR1 and
above), it should work fine. I have set up CSG with MF 1.8 on TSE in a
lab and it worked fine. Of course, the CSG server must be Windows 2000.

Just a quick point....you cannot use CSG with MF 1.8..has to be XP FR1
for
CSG 1.0 and FR2 for CSG 1.1. You can stil use Nfuse Classic though

just after some advice regarding NFuse and printing. Current enviroment
nt
tse 4.0 with meta 1.8 we will be setting up nfuse with csg and was
wondering how you guys do printing. the users running the application
will
be at a remote site and so will always be using same printer. would
the
prefered method be to enable client printer mapping. which brings me on
to
the question regarding enabling client drive mapping to save documents
locally. how do you guys set this scenarion up???

any advice would be appreciated

regards

Richard
