Like Rick says, use Microsoft's PrintMig to migrate the printers (shares
and drivers) to the new server. Changing all the clients over can be a big
job, depending on your setup. The easiest way to do this is to use a
program called NetAlias (http://www.optimumx.com/download/) so that the new
server responds to the old servers name. This gives you time to change over
all the clients and get a script working without any pressures.
Cheers,
Jeremy.

Hi,
Use the Microsoft print migrator (printmig 3.1) to migrate all the queus
and printer drivers from the old to the new print server.
For the users, their printer mappings are stored under
HKCU\printers\connections so it wouldn't be too hard to list the key names
(printer shares names) and run a script on logon to remap the printers to
the new server.
If you're not sure how to do this I can probably help (but I'll be on
planes etc for the next couple of days).
Alternatively, if you shut of the old print server and rename the new one
to the old name, you wouldn't have to do anything.
regards,
Rick
