I would disagree... I would blame Citrix's lack of knowledge of how small
business IT works given that everything requires a server now.

A dedicated DC is beneficial in a small farm as you still need to allocated
resources for:
        Terminal Server Licensing
        Citrix License Server
        Web Interface/IIS Server
        STA server (for CSG or CAG)
        DataStore (MSDE or SQL)
        Server to head print driver replication
        A place to run the CMC (or now called the PSMC)
        Any additional Administrative tools/Support Desktop
        Also you need a place to store Profiles and Centralized Scripts.

If I were you... I'd be very nervous about depending on this "partner"
to install/configure Citrix.  If they can recommend something as
idiotic as a dedicated data-collector for a maximum 8 server farm,
they are capable of more dire idiocies.  careful
