Hi, > I am planning on setting up a 2 Node NLB cluster running windows 2003 > TS. > My questions is what is the recommended configuration? And what changes > do I need to do on my cisco swictches? > Can this setup work with just one NIC or do I need two NICs I guess 'Multicast IGMP' , thus enabling host and nlb communication on the same nic/team and preventing switch flooding. On the Cisco switches we configured 'igmp snooping' and we had to add a static arp (unicast NLB IP address and multicast NLB mac address) to make it work. We have multiple NLB configurations, so for our situation it paid of to investigate and configure multicast igmp. Cheers, Andre
