[THIN] Re: NFuse servers extremely slow response

Unfortunately, we have to check our servers individually when something like
this happens. Our first step in troubleshooting was cycling the XML service on
our Data Collector but this did not fix the problem. The thing that we noticed
the two times that this has happened to us is that the server that has the XML
service "flaking out" will not allow you to RDP into it. Basically the way we
identified the troubled server was to attempt an RDP connection to each server,
finding the one that we couldn't RDP into, Remotely manage that server and stop
the XML service for that box. As soon as the XML service is stopped on that
box, we are golden.

I am curious about this as well. Our Citrix server was the XML gateway and
was easy to troublshoot.
Are people having to check each individual application server or just the
XML gateway servers?

I would be interested in something like this as well if anyone has anything
available. Checking 120 application servers by hand is rather tedious.

We have had the same problem with farms running Win2k SP3/MF1.0 FR2

Does anyone have a testxml.asp page or something that we can use to =
locate a problem server?
