[THIN] Re: Multiple Monitors

Ryan,

As far as I can tell Citrix does not offer true multi-monitor solution. In case
when you have local monitors of different sizes or the same monitors not
aligned at the top you get one remote desktop that spans multiple monitors with
certain "dead zones" - not a true multi-monitor configuration. If monitors are
aligned and are the same the situation is better, however in any event you get
one remote display spanning local monitors.

I would recommend checking Provision Networks - according to the interview by
Patrick Rouse they are the only vendor with "multi-monitor support":
http://www2.provisionnetworks.com/kb/article.aspx?id=10007&cNode=3M2Y7G#6

Also check iShadow Desktop at www.ishadow.com - multi-monitor support is
similar to Citrix ICA (i.e. not a "true remote multi-display") with advantage
of using the "best fit" to multiple monitors and support for RDP, ICA. iShadow
Desktop offers "true remote multi-display" support with VNC when multiple
desktops are accessed via different VNC ports.

Is anyone out there using multiple monitors with Citrix? We are trying to use
multiple monitors with different resolutions, with out much luck. I have
opened a call with citrix regarding the issue and I haven't gotten a very good
response so far. They have escalated the call, but I was wondering if anyone
else is currently doing this and if they have had any problems.
