This is really not necessary anymore. It is possible to run the LS (2000 or 2003) on a member server. You will need to configure the license service with the -nodc option and point set the defaultlicenseserver key on the Terminal servers. It will then stop handing out licenses. That's been my experience before. You can if you want to. If you upgrade TS servers to 203 at a later time, there will need to be a licensing server on a 2003 machine. Currently our TS license server is on one of our W2K Terminal Servers in our farm. When we migrate our farm to it's own Citrix Server Farm OU and we are not upgrading out W2K TS servers to W2K3, do we need to move the TS License server to either a W2K3 Domain Controller or a W2k3 TS server? Thank You.
