The issue where things appear under other applications can be fixed.
There is a Citrix article on it along with a hotfix. I've only really
seen this issue when working with published scripts that start
applications vs publishing the application exes directly.

I don't have the article number handy, but if this is what you are
talking about search their KB for "StartInJobObject" I think it was or
something very similar.

Subject: [THIN] Re: MetaFrame Session Sharing

I have just recently started using session sharing and it has been
great.
When user access published applications through the WI once the first
session starts you can then click the next published app and it opens
almost instantly. Citrix got it right!

The down side is managing uses within the CMC. You might see a published
app name and think they are only running that published app. Actually
they are running several published apps but that was the first one
launched so that name appears in the CMC.

I've had some odd cases where for no reason it appeared that session
sharing was not working. I think maybe load balancing was the cause of
this or maybe the user logged in from a different client.

Over all the session sharing is great for providing a more "PC" like
experience for the end user.

Subject: [THIN] MetaFrame Session Sharing

Folks,

I have a question about a MetaFrame feature which I have recently become
aware of - Session Sharing. Apparently this feature allows Published
Application B to share the session that was previously established by
Published Application A. Apparently the benefit of this feature is that
the
overhead of establishing and maintaining a session does not have to be
incurred for each application launched by a user. However, there appear
to
be some configuration and reliability concerns with this feature. So, my
questions are:

1. Is this feature widely used today?
2. Is this feature deemed to be highly desirable, in other words, if the
"issues" with it are addressed, it would see widespread use?

Thanks,
