How Does Your Subscription Advantage Transfer to MetaFrame Presentation =
Server 3.0:
As a MetaFrame XP Subscription Advantage member you will have the =
opportunity to consolidate and convert your MetaFrame XP =
connection-based licenses and associated Subscription Advantage =
memberships into MetaFrame Presentation Server 3.0 connection-based =
licenses and associated Subscription Advantage memberships. You can =
fulfill all your licenses and memberships, or just a portion.

Current MetaFrame XP Deployment MetaFrame Presentation Server 3.0 =
Fulfillment=20
MetaFrame XPs Server License MetaFrame Presentation Server 3.0, Standard =
Edition Connection License(s)=20
MetaFrame XPa Server License MetaFrame Presentation Server 3.0, Advanced =
Edition Connection License(s)=20
MetaFrame XPe Server License MetaFrame Presentation Server 3.0, =
Enterprise Edition Connection License(s)=20

Under the new licensing technology that MetaFrame Presentation Server =
utilizes, Server licenses are obsolete. Connection licenses are now all =
you need to enable robust access to your on-demand enterprise. MetaFrame =
XP licenses that are fulfilled will have their associated Subscription =
Advantage memberships transferred to the new MetaFrame Presentation =
Server 3.0 licenses. Pricing (SRP) for MetaFrame Presentation Server 3.0 =
Subscription Advantage membership renewals will be identical to that of =
MetaFrame XP.

 For Example: If a Subscription Advantage MetaFrame XPe 50-user =
connection license with an expiration date of June 1, 2004 is migrated =
to a 50-user MetaFrame Presentation Server 3.0, Enterprise edition =
connection license, the new MetaFrame Presentation Server 3.0 license =
will assume a Subscription expiration date of June 1, 2004 and renew at =
the same price as the MetaFrame XPe membership.=20

NEW! License Consolidation Offering for Customers Fulfilling to =
MetaFrame Presentation Server 3.0:=20
For the first time, customers have the option and opportunity to =
consolidate their multiple MetaFrame XP Presentation Server connection =
licenses into one MetaFrame Presentation Server 3.0 connection license, =
with no consolidation fee applied*. Customers who face challenges =
managing large amounts of MetaFrame XP Presentation Server licenses =
should take this opportunity to simplify the deployment and management =
of MetaFrame Presentation Server licenses by consolidating now.=20
   *License consolidations can only occur within Citrix Licensing =
Programs, within MetaFrame XP Presentation Server Editions and if all =
licenses chosen to consolidate have common Subscription Advantage =
membership expiration dates. In order to consolidate the maximum amount =

Server 3.0 licenses and order software media at the conclusion of this =
session. Since FLEX Licensing Program members require custom-made =
MetaFrame Presentation Server 3.0 licenses, it will require 10-15 =
business days to process a request and deliver customized licenses and =

That is the price for new licenses. The upgrade price is substantially =
less. if you have subscription advantage currently (all license sinclude =
one year of SA) the upgrade is free.
