What's wrong with PSEXEC ??? Use it all the time for managing Citrix
farms, and can do the same with workstations.

If the app appears in Add/Remove programs you can uninstall it
remotely via script as well.

if it was an msi install you can pass it the /uninstall switch
msiexec /uninstall application.msi
