You don't need mfcom.exe. Just download mfreg.exe and run "mfreg.exe <SERVERNAME". Mark E. I was using some WSH files and they seemed to be talking to the MF farm ok. But I could not get my VB to work. So I thought I would unregister mfreg and try it again. Problem is that it blew away mfcom.exe and I can't get it back :( I tried running mfreg servername and also mfreg /regserver. The last one tries to create the service but does not but mfcom anywhere. I ended up trying to copy it from our MF server but that did not seem to work. Anyone got any ideas? Is MFREG the only way to get mfcom installed locally? Totally lost. I am also going to post on the developer forum but I don't get many answers there.
