No, I think I got it. Strange how the small SOHO VPN Router never played a problem in the past. It's not the machine, it's the router. Not sure how though, looked at the router and no rules are defined.... Strange. Time to put a new router on and check it that way. Modify the local appsrv.ini in the user' profile and set COMAllowed=Off or modify the template.ica file with the same setting. This seems to be a problem on HP laptops. _____ From: thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Rick Fogarty Sent: Wednesday, January 04, 2006 10:21 AM To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [THIN] MF Server login I just inherited a MF Server (version 3.0 Build 2085) that I'm having an issue with for one computer (well two now). When this user logs into the web interface on the MF server, he is prompted for credentials and it processes them. Once he selects the farm, it shows the published apps and desktop. However, when selecting any of the available options, the process hangs with the "preparing to connect" dialog box showing. I found a link on Citrix's web site (http://support.citrix.com/forums/thread.jspa?messageID=258165 <http://support.citrix.com/forums/thread.jspa?messageID=258165&fromSearchPag e=true𿁵> &fromSearchPage=true𿁵) that stated to delete this key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\MSLicensing\Store\LICENSE00x I've done so, but still am having issues. I've looked at the other suggestions on Citrix's site and nothing appears to work. When this same user logs in using another system, it has not issue. Any suggestions? Thanks! Rick
