Hi Casey,

In my environment, we also only run W2K Terminal Services, no Citrix.

There's an article on the MS website, you might find it helpful.

http://www.microsoft.com/windows2000/en/server/help/ts_cli_c_print.htm

It details how TS re-directs client printing.

Subject: [THIN] Local Printers and Local Drives

I'm looking for advices on using local printers a drives of client =
machines which connect through both TSweb and the TSClient.

All users connect from home to the network using VPN. The user that I =
am testing needs to print to his local printer which is an Epson C80 and
=
is attached to his local LPT1 port. The user is on Windows XP. The =
user also need to access both his floppy drive and his CD drive through
=
the terminal session.

I've read that the drives need to be shared on the client PC and then =
mapped to from the terminal session. This is going to pose a problem =
considering that we don't let users map drives from a terminal session.

I think I remember Citrix Metaframe automatically mapping the user's =
local drives upon connection. Is there a way to do this with just =
Terminal Services 2000?

Thanks,
Casey
