That's just it. It does work in that the clients connect but does not
work because it is not issuing licenses.=20

Wait...

How does that work?

You have 2003 Terminal Servers, and 2000 Terminal Server CALs?

Are you licensed in per user mode on the 2k3 servers?

Subject: [THIN] License Server not working

This is odd. I may have messed something up but everything is working
just fine.
I saw some errors in the event log about not being able to issue a
client license. This was on a Windows 2003 Server with Metaframe Xpa
FR/SP3. No big deal because all of my clients are connecting.

I decided to take a look at my license server which is a Windows 2000
Server with SP6 and it only shows about 4 licenses have been issued out
of the 125 we have. The rest are all showing up as available. Only 22
temp licenses have been issued.

This is the same license server we had running prior to moving form
Windows 2000 to Windows 2003 on our terminal servers. Almost all of the
licenses were issued when we were running Windows 2000.

I missed something during the upgrade but I am not sure what. Like I
said, everything is running fine and none of my users have had trouble
connecting. Most of them connect from thin client terminals with a few
fat clients connecting at our corporate headquarters.
