CTX103311 - How do I Propagate SpeedScreen Latency Reduction Settings to all the Servers in my Farm? This document was published at: http://support.citrix.com/kb/entry.jspa?externalID=CTX103311 Document ID: CTX103311, Created on: Jan 22, 2004, Updated: Jan 26, 2004 Products: Citrix MetaFrame XP 1.0 for Microsoft Windows 2000 Environment MetaFrame XP, Feature Release 3 MetaFrame Presentation Server 3.0 Symptom How do I propagate SpeedScreen Latency Reduction settings to all the servers in my farm? Cause When you configure SpeedScreen Latency Reduction on a particular server, the settings are saved in the C:\WINNT\system32\ss3config folder of that server. You can propagate the settings to other MetaFrame servers by copying the ss3config folder and its contents to the same location on the other servers. Resolution If you plan to propagate SpeedScreen Latency Reduction settings to other MetaFrame servers, select to Apply settings to all instances of the selected application when configuring local text echo. Paths to published applications might differ from one server to another. Applying the settings to all instances of the selected application ensures that the settings apply regardless of where the application is located on the destination server. ******************************************************** This Week's Sponsor - Emergent Online 99Point9.com EOL THINssentials?
