I clicked through to link on how to disabled feedback yet the corresponding
article does not address how to do this... How is the average user going to
accomplish this?

Agreed, most ppl don't read the EULA however, they should give you the
OPTION not to have it report back if you would prefer.  I think MS has
gotten a lot better about this but it still doesn't apply to all
things.
