In Timeslips 10.5, on the Setup menu is Preferences. Make any changes
as necessary and click the "Save As..." button to save it to a shared
location so it can be accessed from all Citrix servers. Use the
"Retrieve" button if the profile has already been made.

The name and location of the last profile accessed by the user is
located in the registry in HKCU\Software\Best US\Timeslips\General. I
tested this with a couple of users and saved their preferences to
different preference files. The last preference file used by the user
was used the next time they launched Timeslips no matter how the other
users configured it.

By default, users use PREFS.PRF located in the local installation
directory. To have their own preferences, users must create their own
preference file. The users at this customer are well aware of this
process. The only way I can see users accessing jdoe.prf by default is
if somebody was in install mode when modifying the preferences within
Timeslips since the name of the profile file to use is stored in HKCU.
Users can all be using the same profile as well if they attempt to
modify PREF.PRF instead of creating their own .prf file. You might want
to modify the permissions on PREFS.PRF so users can't modify it.

I believe this is the behavior for Timeslips 9.0 as well.

I'm having a problem with the Timeslips .prf file. It seems no matter
which user logs on, they use the same profile. For instance, if jdoe
logs on and uses profile jdoe, then tdoe logs on, he's using the jdoe
profile. Is there any way for each user to use their own? This doesn't
seem to be a problem for our typical network users (non-terminal).

Yes, I have installed version 10.5

Install the Installation Folder on a shared drive and give everybody
Modify rights to the directory.

Perform a local install by running setup from the Loc_Inst folder in the
Installation Folder you created earlier. This is the install that
should be performed on the Citrix servers. Give everyone modify rights
to the local Timeslips directory on the Citrix servers as well.

The data files should also be stored on a shared drive.

There are additional steps if you are doing an upgrade.
