These days you don't need to do anything special to enable TS - just do

I am installing now W2003 R2 Terminal Server.

Could you please send me a link to a document which describes how to
best configure the server, what services should I run, what services
should be stopped, what other tuning should have been done.

I will run only IE on the machine.
