Don't record the install. Instead, put the hotfix .exe in a folder in the Packages share. Write a script (.cmd) and put it in the same folder. The script would be something like: "%~dp0WindowsServer2003-KB898060-v2-x86-enu.exe" /passive /norestart Then use the Citrix Packager and add an unattended install instead of a recording. Configure it to run the script from the file share and add the .cmd file created earlier. The .wfs file created by the Packager will simply tell the Citrix servers to run the .cmd file that installs the hotfix. _____ From: thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Michael Boggan Sent: Tuesday, January 03, 2006 3:59 PM To: thin list Subject: [THIN] Installation Manager and MS hotfix I have a hotfix from MS that I would like to push out to my Citrix servers using Installation manager but I cannot build a package for it. I record the installation on my package server, then when I tell it to build the package, it errors out when it cannot find the file. The hotfix is an EXE file. Is there something I am not looking at? Thanks, Michael Boggan XO Communications
