[THIN] Re: Installation Manager

I checked it.  I retyped in my domain password and I still get the same
error.  So, why does a domain account with admin rights (MF, domain, and
local) with synched passwords get locked out in Installation Manager?

Hi,

I think the problem is probably from the browse account (defined under IM
properties in CMC). The password is hardcoded in there and when you change
your password, you'll see that error.

I somehow managed to grunge up something with Installation Manager.  It
uses
my domain account to do its work, but for some reason, it is failing to
authenticate according to the event logs.  I've re-typed the password to
makre sure it is uptodate.

Can I just de-install the service and re-install it without doing too much
damage?
