Okay, it says: DatabaseDriver:REG_SZ: ImaSql.dll Is this direct or indirect? What's the difference? _________________________________ Hector Minero NSWCDD Code K55 Ph: (540)653-8859 Fax:(540)653-8575 -----Original Message----- From: Michael Hagberg [mailto:michael.hagberg@xxxxxx] Sent: Wednesday, November 13, 2002 8:42 AM To: 'thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx' Subject: [THIN] Re: IMA Datastore question Look in the registry under HKLM\SOFTWARE\CITRIX\IMA\DatabaseDriver Michael -----Original Message----- From: Minero Hector B DLVA [mailto:MineroHB@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: den 13 november 2002 14:38 To: 'thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx' Subject: [THIN] Re: IMA Datastore question How can you find out if you're using Direct or Indirect ? _________________________________ Hector Minero NSWCDD Code K55 Ph: (540)653-8859 Fax:(540)653-8575 -----Original Message----- From: Rowlandson, John [mailto:John.Rowlandson@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Wednesday, November 13, 2002 5:33 AM To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [THIN] Re: IMA Datastore question i would do it offline, just in case... also decide if you are going = direct or indirect to the sql data store... citrix have a whitepaper i think about migrating to sql from access or = its in the advanced admin guide john -----Original Message----- From: Newman, Phil [mailto:Phil.Newman@xxxxxxx] Sent: Wednesday, 13 November 2002 9:30 PM To: 'thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx' Subject: [THIN] IMA Datastore question I'm sure this is a simple question, but I just want to check. I have inherited a new Xpe farm, which appears to be running an Access Database based system. I say this as there is no mention of SQL based = DSN's with the ODBC configuration. I would like to move toward a direct connected SQL Config. Is the best = way to do this, to set up an appropriate SQL Database, and then migrate the servers to use this? What is the best way forward, and is this an evening/weekend job, or can = it be done server by server during the day?
