Yep...this is a machine setting, and not an individual user setting. Sorry
about that...

I see that now. It was not showing for the user. I signed on as the local
admin, did change user and made the change. It did not show for the end
users.

Thanks.

From within IE...go to "Tools"..."Internet Options"...

Select the "Advanced" tab all the way to the right. Scroll down a little
bit under the subheading "Browsing" and you should see an option which says,
"Force offscreen compositing even under Terminal Server (requires restart)".
Make sure that this is checked. The restart required is of the browser
itself, not the server.

Hope this helps.

I'm pretty certain that IE 5.5 has it...I think SP1 or better, though.

This would have to be IE6 correct?

I do not see that on IE5 SP3 or IE 5.5.

Use the "Force Off-Screen Composition" option in the Internet
Options...Advanced tab.

This has been in the archives several times, so a search should bring up
quite a bit of information.

Hope this helps.

Anyone notice a nasty screen flicker when they run IE as a published app.?
