Do you have a group policy setup for your Citrix servers? If so look under both Computer Configuration\Administrative Templates\Windows Components\Terminal Services\Sessions and User Configuration\Administrative Templates\Windows Components\Terminal Services\Sessions and see if you have an idle timeout set. -Mike Original Message: ----------------- From: Claus, Brian BClaus@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Date: Mon, 15 May 2006 10:16:50 -0400 To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [THIN] ICA protocol -- idle timer value is resetting Citrix XPe FR3 Win2k SP4 When I go into Citrix Connection Configuration \ ICA-TCP \ Advanced and set the Idle value to "No Timeout" this setting does not seem to hold following a reboot. Note that 95% of our servers do have an idle timeout set for 120 minutes although a 5 server silo requires that the idle timer be disabled. Any thoughts on why \ how the idle timer is getting reset? Could it be picking up a farm setting from somewhere? -------------------------------------------------------------------- mail2web - Check your email from the web at http://mail2web.com/ . ************************************************ For Archives, RSS, to Unsubscribe, Subscribe or set Digest or Vacation mode use the below link: //www.freelists.org/list/thin ************************************************
