The ICA file specifies that you are using an alternate address. If the alternate address used to work but isn't any longer then I'd look to the firewall. Try this: telnet the.external.address.here 1494 See if you can connect that way. If you can't either the alternate address assignment on the server has disappeared or the firewall rules have changed. -----Original Message----- From: Michael Boggan [mailto:MBoggan@xxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Monday, January 13, 2003 12:59 PM To: 'thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx' Subject: [THIN] Re: ICA file problem...more info When I try to run this ica file from my desktop I get the same thing. An error message that says, "The Citrix Server you have selected can not be located." I can do direct connections to these servers all day long. I don't know why it is telling me this. -------------------------------------------- Michael Boggan, Network Eng/Citrix Admin Virtual Desktop Inc. Dallas, Tx ph. (972) 960.6400 f. The link is an ica file that they run. It was working but all of a sudden it has stopped. Can someone look at this and tell me what I should look for or try? We run WinTSE 4.0 / Citrix XP.
