-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Thanks. I assume "opportunistic locking" is on the Novell server, as I haven't seen this on a Terminal Server. I will forward this info to the tech in NY. He told me that they are phasing out Novell, but there is some data still around on a few Novell servers. There are issues with 4.8x clients especially with latency. 4.83 was supposed to fix them but something broke and Novell issued 4.83.sp1 and while it fixed some stuff it broke others. There are some hot fixes on the Novell site that address it. Basically you shoule be at 4.83 + Sp1 + Hot fixes and things should be hunky dory - Also check to see if opportunistic locking is set on the server and client, If it is off - you could see really slow connections - --------------------------------- Do you Yahoo!?
