[THIN] Re: ICA Client Install

Thanks for the info....i always read these threads for information and
feedback. We are planning to use this....still in the design phase so
that helps a lot.

I'd stay away from MS until the next release (the re-evaluate).  The
Citrix Receiver does require admin rights to begin with but once the
receiver is installed the plug-ins will not need admin rights.

Once you get to 11.1? you can implement Citrix Merchandising server and
the Citrix receiver to deploy ICA clients. If your Platinum it's free I
think.....

wasn't there a version of the ICA client that users could use that did
not require admin rights?

I support a ton of external users (over 100K) who do not have admin
rights on their machines.  Many of them just upgraded to Vista and have
no ICA client.  The web client we put onour site requires admin rights
to run.

There has got to be an easier way to get these people connected without
them having to grab an admin to install the client.
