[THIN] Re: How can I find known issues with mixed SP1 Active Directory servers ?

Every few months I run into some weird issues and learn more then I ever
thought I'd need to.  The most recent adventure was a kerberos failure
where 1 DC had an invalid secret key so it couldn't talk to my PDC
Emulator.  Using netdom resetpwd you can force a resync between the
server with the bad password and the PDC Emulator.  This then causes all
your DC's to change the secret key to the new one.   The catch is, you
need to stop Kerberos on every DC and reboot it, or use KLIST to flush
the cached tickets.  Then allow for replication time.  It's not fun with
all the DC's I have.

        You might be having replication problems unrelated to service
pack level.

        What sort of problems are you seeing?  The first place to look
would be MS's support site.
