[THIN] Hidden explorer window for JRE apps

Hello all, long time no chat.  I have an issue that I know I've face before
but the solution is escaping me.  I have a JRE app that works in a full
desktop but not as a published app.  I vaguely remember that the solution
before was to run it from a batch file with a hidden Explorer window to
invoke the desktop.  I just can't remember how I did that :-).  Anyone have
any ideas?
