I've got this working nicely in a Win2k SP2 - MF XPe FR1 - GW 5.5.2
environment. It took some work for me though.

As always on a Win2k machine you must install the 2k messaging before
ever attempting to install the GW client (Novell TID #: 2955774) After
installing the app, I ran started it as admin first and logged in with
no problems. Tried this as a normal user and received a message stating
that some GW subsystem failed, and GW was not properly installed.

Fix. After tracking the problem down with regmon, I found that the
registry permissions were not allowing normal users to read/write to the
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\WindowsNT\Current..\Windows Messaging Sub.. and
HKCU\Software\Novell. After changing these perms for my default
profile, all seemed to work. Your error id different, but is probably
close to the same cause.

HTH,
Paul

GlacierOK - this really sucks.....

We use GroupWise 5.5 EP/SP3 and I'm trying to get it to work in
Citrix.

Cliff Notes version: unless you're in the Administrators or Power Users
=
groups, GroupWise begins to open, and quickly exits. No errors in
Event =
Viewer, no errors on the Desktop, nothing!

Has anyone seen this before? Is there something really stupid I'm =
missing here?

Environment:
    Windows 2000 Advanced Server SP3
All Windows Updates applied except IE6SP1.
    MetaFrame XPe FR2
    All MetaFrame hotfixes applied.

Thanks!
