Sorry to repost but Im assuming there are people out there running 64 bit OS's. How are you using Group Policy to manage these systems. Do I need new ADM files or should existing ADM's work? Angela From: angela_smith9@xxxxxxxxxxx To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [THIN] Group Policy issue applying to 32 and 64 bit IE Browsers Date: Mon, 12 Oct 2009 15:40:11 +1000 Hi Im currently running Windows 2003 x64 systems and use both the 32 and 64 bit Internet Explorer browser. I use AD Group Policy to set IE Proxy settings. The problem that I have is that the AD GPO does not apply to both IE browsers (on the same server). IE Proxy settings do apply on the 64 bit IE browser but nothing is applied to the 32 bit IE browser. How will AD GPO work in such a scenario. Im assuming the group Policy setting is failing as the 32bit registry path is different on 64 bit OS's. How can I set Proxy settings via Group Policy so they apply to both IE browsers on 64 bit systems?
