You need to specify a different .pol file for the terminal servers. There's a little easy registry tweaking involved. I exported this from the registry on one of my TSE4 boxes. Perhaps it'll be of use. You have to make the change on all TS boxes. REGEDIT4 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Update] "NetworkPath"="\\\\sms_server\\tse_file$\\policy\\ntconfig.pol" "UpdateMode"=dword:00000002 "LoadBalance"=dword:00000001 -----Original Message----- From: thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: 09 July 2002 22:11 To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [THIN] Group Policy Sorry for the dumb question but I can't seem to find a way around this. I have a group policy set for the users that log into my terminal servers but some of those users also need to log into their windows 2000 pro fat client. How do I apply the group policy to only their terminal sessions without messing up their fat clients. Thanks!
