Is the client actually outside the network, i.e. strictly coming through the
public interface?

Subject: [THIN] Friday dumb question on AG

I have setup the AG 4.2 and am using a trial SSL cert for testing. I can
connect and seemingly the VPN connection is working. So I plugged in a
protocol analyzer between me and the AG. I notice then when I open a webpage
the traffic does not go through the VPN tunnel but appears to go directly to
the IP address of the web server. Is this normal? How do I know my traffic
really is going through the tunnel? Do all types of traffic go through the
tunnel?

Thank you for any input,
