Michael, Have you looked at the MSH? If you like the command line (which I
do) you should look at the MSH/Monad. Its all early mind you, but its very
cool

The majority of the things we end up needing to do require either files to
be copied, or registry entries to be changed. I realize that most sane
people probably use policies for everything, we haven't used them as much as
we should have in the NT4 world. So, we use the reg.exe program, which
allows you to make remote registry changes, along with the for command
(usually for /l or for /f) and it pushes a change out to our 100 server farm
in less than a minute.

I hope my response didn't come out wrong, but my point was that there is
still some decent power left in the old command line DOS tools that some
times get overlooked.

Teach them how to use reg.exe and a for loop at the command prompt. We get
more done this way than anything.
