Firstly...GREAT topic Ron. Jim...how about a link on thethin.net to the
utilities suggested? =20

I'll second the recommendation on Angry IP Scanner. Very nice.

My suggestion is one I've made before but I LOVE the tool so much I have
to share it. www.dameware.com Dameware NT Utilities is the best domain
management out there...can't even begin to list everything that it does
but I can't imagine any admin without it. 30 day free trial, after that
it's around a $100-$200 one time fee (unless you want upgrade
maintenance, then it's more) but hey, with Citrix and MS's licensing
fees, $100-$200 is nothing right? ;)

What are some of your favorite free tools out there (Newer ones, like
within
the last 6 months) offered By MS , Citrix or any third party.

Just finishing a presentation for the Citrix Users Group and have a
slide
for a list of "cool new tools" that every admin should have (TS plain,
OR
with Citrix, Jetro, etc)
