I am not sure why I had a brain fart but even easier than my other
suggestions is to just modify the hosts file on your ts boxes and set
video.google.com to point to 127.0.0.1. :)

LOL, Jim Kerr can now be heralded as a BOFH. Well done.

My old CFO used to always hit http://www.usatoday.com/sports/front.htm
every day at lunch. I used our packeteer box to redirect that URL to
http://www.playboy.com The look on his face was priceless.

I like the packeteer idea, nice.....

Block that website with your firewall. That would be an easy fix. If
you want to be real funny install a Packeteer box and redirect the
google videos dll to www.cdc.gov <http://www.cdc.gov> Also, throttle
all video traffic to use something like 1K. It will be so slow they
will stop looking at videos.

We limited the use of Windows Media Player on our farm as there
was no workplace justification for it and did not want
memory/cpu/bandwidth wasted on it. Now, folks are going to
http://video.google.com and watching video
with the installed Macromedia Player. We recently realized the
ability of the flash component to play video.
How do you prevent this?
