we use messagelabs also

the freelists mail server sends mail that has invalid formatting and doesnt 
meet email RFC's etc ect

they detect it as invalid data / potential virus

annoying i know

Hi folks,

Sorry to be a pain, but I am a member of this list and I recieved 386 of
these messages last week alone (see below). This accounts for 10% of all
emails coming through my server. Are the lists monitored in any way for
repeated virusers/spammers?

This is really starting to become a nuisance, and it would be a shame to
have to unsubscribe as I find the lists extremely useful.

or unauthorised code (such as a joke program or trojan) in an email sent
to you.

The email has now been quarantined and was not delivered.

Please read the whole of this email carefully.  It explains what has
happened to your email, which suspected virus has been caught, and
what to do if you need help.

The message recipients were

The message senders were 
    theressawilliams547@xxxxxxxxxxx
    mailerautomat@xxxxxxx

and they have been notified that they have sent a potential virus.
The message title was Mail: Returned To Mailer 
The message date was Wed, 7 Jan 2004 05:29:14 -0500 (EST)
The virus or unauthorised code identified in the email is
/var/qmail/queue/split/0/attach/569215_2X_PM3_EMS_MOAUDIO-X=2DWAV__bmkpahd.e
xe
        Found the W32/Swen@MM virus !!!


Some viruses forge the sender address. For more information please

The message was diverted into the virus holding pen on
mail server server-25.tower-17.messagelabs.com (pen id 569215_1073471970)
and will be held for 30 days before being destroyed
