What I do when the base images are created is make sure the WFCNAME.INI file
is deleted. When someone lauches the ICA client this file will recreate
itself. If you relized this after the fact you can delete this file via
scripting or various other ways and it will solve your problem...

Hi,

We had a customer whole rolled out cloned systems, and then yelled for help
when prinint didn't work. The quick and dirty fix was to change the ica
client name via scripting to something that incorporated the IP address. Not
ideal but it worked.

Regards,

Rick

Subject: [THIN] Duplicate Client Names

Is there a way to prevent duplicate Citrix client
names. Because of a large PC rollout, it appears that
the Citrix client name is the same on alot of PCs.
Because these machines are spread out among several
dozen facilities, and because we are having several
printing issues associated with duplicate client
names, I was wondering if anyone knew of a way you
could prevent people with a duplicate client name from
logging into a server.

That way people who do not have access will be forced
to call the helpdesk forcing them to change their
client name.

Thank you,

Raymond
