[THIN] Re: Domain not Available - Logon on freezes

Cheers, for that Jeff, tho your authentication problem doesn't seem to be
whats happening in our case.

In fact just there we seem to have tracked the problem down to the users
home drive. It appears that the the file hpbafd.ini stored there was locked.
When we disconnected the connection by the user to this file from the file
server, our servers jumped back into action straight away and that user a/c
could not crash any more servers.

Now we have some new questions, What is this file and what does it do? Why
would this file being locked cause a server hang? By its name it seems to be
a HP printer file, but as to what function it serves I haven't been able to
find out.

The file seems to get referenced on logon, and when printing. It gets
recreated if not already existing.

Any takers?

Thanks
Tom
