[THIN] Re: Does anyone run virus scanner on XPe thin client?

Sophos DAT files are text files and a few hundred K. They say they are
the smallest in the industry. Most AV vendors overwrite their old DATS,
or keep a history of 2 or 3, so space shouldn't be a huge issue.

I would if I could, the problem of course is the flash drive has a
limited amount of storage so you would not be able to keep it updated
too well with dat files because it would eventually run out of space.
If you have a ton of storage available on your flash go for it. I'd look
at something like the Trend SMB Antivirus solution though as it is a
small download.

        Thanks for the info!
