[THIN] Does CTX991230 (steps to prevent launching of desktop from published app) still apply to PS4?

I am creating a new PS4 farm (on W2K3, no SP1) and was just curious if
the steps outlined in CTX991230 are still required to prevent the
launching of a desktop from a published app (PS4 is not listed in the
"Products" list for the document).
Specifically, do I still need to make the suggested modifications to
the following registry values:
HKCR\Folder\shell\explore\command
HKCR\Folder\shell\explore\ddexec
HKCR\Folder\shell\explore\ddexec\application
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer\NoRun
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer\NoFileUrl
I have the otherwise relevant restrictions in a GPO but I always had
to set the above under MFXP and was wondering if I still do
