Commercial real estate with 85% of the work force in the field or at remote
offices, on-site at the buildings we manage. We are also trying to give our
clients access to their reports/information to view 24/7. Initially we did
it through Terminal, now we are separating that off into its own server and
giving them a web portal/Sharepoint area for each client to have their own.

In a nut-shell Citrix is an add-on product to Terminal Server.  Its not one
and the same.  Without knowing your companies business needs its difficult
to say how Citrixs products can add value to your organization.

Everyone,

Crazy question: What is the difference between Citrix and Terminal Server? I
know this will make you all roll your eyes, but a down and dirty, nutshell
of it is all I need. If there is a difference any more? The reason I ask is
that we had Citrix years ago and went to Terminal Server. Now they seem to
be one in the same?
