[THIN] Re: Detect a published desktop via vbs?

Hi Joe,

Thanks for this.

I had tried checking explorer.exe first - but it hadn't started when the login
scripts were running so it didn't work.

I'll give the run key a try and let you know how I get on.

An easy way is to see if the explorer.exe shell is running. Or better yet,
throw your helper apps in to the Run registry key and skip the script. The Run
key will execute for those who get a desktop and not for those who run a
published application.

Subject: [THIN] Detect a published desktop via vbs?

Hi All,

I'm creating a script to launch various helper apps in a published desktop only.

I don't want these to start if a published application is launched directly.

Is there any way in VBS to detect either the name of the published application
running, or that the user is running a full published desktop?

Any help appreciated.

Cheers.
