[THIN] Re: Desktop

It is my view that this list is about all thin client/server based type of
technologies, practices and solutions. I for one would like to include VDI
and related products and solutions in the discussion. I think it is far too
limited to consider this is Citrix or MS Terminal Services list especially
now that there are so many new options in virtualization and brokering
sessions.

I will defer to the Grand Pooobah of Thin- Jim are we okay to include in
depth discussions of VDI and other technologies such as XEN, Provision
Networks, Hyper-V, brokers, etc on this list??

Hi Steve,

I think I've pushed the bounds far enough. I've always felt that this wasn't
the forum for commercial exploits, but I couldn't resist a little dig.
Sorry.

Besides, would you really appreciate my giving you the complete spiel on
Provision Network's VAS?

Provision do have a great VDI product that's only getting better, but if you
want to find out about it contact me offline, rick.mack@xxxxxxxxx, I'll be
happy to oblige.

regards,

Rick
