Is there such a thing as server to server content
redirection?
Here is a sample scenario. Citrix XPe FR2 farm with
multiple published apps on different servers. Server A
has Winzip installed. Server B has Lotus Notes
installed. The user opens an email with Zip
attachment. They want to open the Zipped attachment
without first detaching it. Normally in a fat client
world Winzip would be evoked automatically because of
file association. Or in server to client redirection,
if the client had winzip installed, the zipped file
would be opened. But if the client does not have
winzip installed and it exists as a separate published
app on another server, can Citrix be set up to evoke
the winzip published app to open the zipped file?
Sorry for the long winded question. Any ideas?
Thanks
