Yes, you can remove this. This is included in the Citrix Tuning Guide.

Subject: [THIN] Compaq NIC teaming cpqteam.exe

I've noticed on one of our servers (Compaq DL580) that cpqteam.exe runs
for every user that logs on, as it's is in HKLM\.......\Run - so we
have up to 25-30 instances of it running all the time. I'm not teaming
the NICs so is it safe to remove this entry from the registry or put it
elsewhere so it runs only locally? Can't find anything on
MS/Citrix/Compaq sites.

cheers
Chris

I found the value at: HKLM/Software/Microsoft/Jet/4.0/Engines/Jet 3.x

MaxLocksPerFile DWORD: with a value of 251C (9500 Decimal)

What would be a good/safe value to increase it to?

Any help is appreciated

Subject: [THIN] Access 2000 Error

Hi all, a user is cutting and pasting a lot of data in an Access 2000
database and he's getting the following error:

File sharing lock file count exceeded. Increase the maxlockperfile
registry entry

Has anyone seen this before? I can look for this entry, but is it safe
to increase the value? I've searched TechNet and no luck

Thanks,
